Last year many of our great farmers lost everything due to broken promises. The large hemp processors failed to honor over twenty million dollars of contracts. Many of these farmers had grown other crops and because of the contracts, they were solely focused on hemp.
These hemp processors contribute to over 90% of the brands on the market. Organizations simply buy from these processors and put their labels on the bottles. Without any oversight of what is actually in the bottle. Some of our farmers will never recover from this.
American Pure is our pledge to support farmers. We do that in many different ways.
In supporting American Pure you are supporting many farmers who have committed their land and resources to grow high-quality hemp. Know what you are putting into your body and try American Pure CBD today.
It’s really simple, if you buy any other brand on the market you are supporting organizations that failed to pay our great farmers. Support American farmers and buy American Pure

Dr. Bright Co-Founded TEC Biosciences Inc., a biotechnology startup located in Lexington, KY, that is developing a novel metabolomics testing platform for use in diagnosing chronic disease. Dr. Bright successfully led TECbio’s seed funding round in 2017 and has overseen the launch of three product lines conducting high-complexity tests for customers in the academic research, clinical, and hemp industries.
Additionally, Dr. Bright is the Co-founder and CFO of Novoron Bioscience, Inc., a biotechnology startup located in San Diego, CA, developing a therapeutic molecule capable of regenerating damaged neurons in spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis.
Dr.Bright holds a PhD from the University of California, San Diego (2013) and an AB from Princeton University (2005).
Chase has a long-standing interest in understanding how plants produce their unique array of valuable products. He has studied how plants accomplish these goals during his B.S. (2008) and M.S. (2011) study at West Virginia University, to his completion of a PhD in Plant Physiology in 2016 from the University of Kentucky. During his graduate and post-doctoral work, he studied terpene biosynthesis and metabolic engineering. After his PhD he co-founded the start-up, Enepret, which is focused on using yeast to produce valuable triterpenes for applications in the pharmaceutical and personal care industries. He joined TEC Biosciences in August of 2018 where he helped launch its hemp potency testing program and other analytical testing capabilities.
Kerry began working with hemp and cannabis in Northern California. It was on a small farm where he learned about the lifecycle of the plant and the variety of cost-effective pest control methods. From there, Kerry was able to complete his chemistry degree and begin working in the hemp industry. Kerry wants to push the boundaries of quality higher and higher. He believes that the best medicine comes from a happy and healthy plant, and he wants to be at the forefront of research and technology in order to make that happen.
Kerry holds a BS in Chemistry from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA (2017).
Our farmers grow to organic standards and all hemp is sustainably grown. Once the hemp has been harvested, Colt Neck labs will spend the next 3-5 weeks curing the hemp. The correct ventilation is crucial, along with 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit and 55-65% humidity. This is a very important process. The natural terpenes produce a very citrus-forward aroma.
We test our hemp three times before harvest. Once the hemp is cured, Dr. Kempkinsi sends product to be tested by a third party. These results are found on our site and all bottles. American Pure offers the cleanest CBD on Earth.
